Unclutter Your Junk Drawer

Yes, we all have and some of us call it by a different name but it’s all the same. It’s the stinking junk drawer that piles up and piles up to no avail. If yours is like mine then it is probably time for a good deep cleaning.

The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in your home and it really needs to be neat and tidy including that dawning junk drawer of yours. There are different ways that you could go about making it work for you but here are a few tips to get you started and on the cheap because we all love cheap.

Clear it Out:

Take everything out of the junk drawer and dump it on a table. I do mean everything and you will probably be amazed at what all you have in there. I know I hadn’t seen my finger nail clippers in a while.

Go Through the Pile:

Go through it and take out the things that don’t really belong or things that you know should go in another room. I leave things like tape, pens, and a notepad in mine because these are things that we often need to find right away but never really remember where they are and they don’t really have a place anywhere else. I guess you could put the tape with your crafting items or whatever but this is just an example. Also throw out any trash or receipts and things that you no longer need.

Clean the drawer:

Really clean it because under all that junk you have dust and dirt that doesn’t need to be there. Take a rag and cleaner and spray the drawer out.

Putting things back:

Some people use little baggies to separate their items and other use small boxes or other organizers. I simply stick to whats on hand so that I don’t feel the urge to go out and purchase an organizer just for junk.

Now that it’s Clean:

Put this on your schedule to do once a month so that it doesn’t get out of hand again. Keeping this drawer tidy will also keep bugs at bay since they won’t be able to hide in it.

What’s your junk drawer look like and what item’s do you keep in it?

Make Money Online Using Fiverr to Sell Gigs

I have been suing Fiverr for about a week now. I have actually had an account with them for about a month but I only used it to help out with a website that I was building. Then it got me to thinking; why not use Fiverr to make money online? Fiverr is a community of people who offer jobs or gigs for $5, and these gig range from funny things like making up a silly song to sing to you, to getting more pageviews, likes, followers, to writing content for people. Well, I am a writer and therefore I like to get paid to write. I set up a few gigs and waited patiently. I started getting hits off of these gigs and people started buying my fiverr gigs. I was making money online within a week. Now, I have used them in the past and so I know that they do payout. They use Paypal to pay the individuals and people from around the world use them. You can either have the funds added to your paypal account or you can use the money you earned to purchase gigs yourself. On the gigs that you...

Long Tail Keywords, Niche Sites, and So Much More

I walk you through as much as I can in a short…umm, maybe long, post. I will go more into this in the near future but for now, enjoy this post on niche sites and keywords. .   What is a Niche Site   A niche site is a website or blog that focuses on one particular thing. Let’s say, for instance, you wanted to do a website on crafting. A niche site for crafting would mean that you would need to take it and narrow it down as much as possible. Instead of being on a wide range, which crafting can be, you might want to focus on a certain type of craft. A niche site for crafting might be woven headbands, building tables made from oak, or using a particular tool to create crafts.   The Right keywords   When you create a niche site, you must use the Right ke...
