Low Budget Christmas, No Problem

 

If you haven’t already noticed, Christmas is around the corner. With this being said, we all know that this means that we are going to be dishing out a lot of money.

I came up with a really cool little idea that would make my kids smile and keep my wallet happy. If you haven’t already signed up for Listia you might want to look into it.

Listia is a website that allows you to get free stuff and give your free stuff away. You have to bid on items with points instead of money. How do you get points? Glad you asked. You get points by either getting rid of your stuff, buying them, inviting friends to join, or by a hundred other ways that are listed on their website such as viewing offers.

So what’s my plan and how is this going to help you? Well, with my children I have noticed that each one of them has a favorite item that they collect such as Hot Wheels, Littlest Pet Shop, Pokemon, and CD’s to name a few. So, I have decided to fill a box up with those items that they collect, one for each child. I am filling the box up with cool stuff that I can grab off of Listia and the best part is that most of it is new(or lightly used) and it is all free (there are some who ask you to pay for the shipping but you can also get a lot of free stuff with free shipping).

I love this site and I also give away a lot of cool stuff on there as well.
