Keyword Placement Strategy to Get Your Blog Post Ranking Higher in Search Engines

Oh the great controversy over keyword placement strategy. This debate has been going on for years. I have actually found a lot of websites that contradict one another on where to place keywords and keyword density.

If you read the blogging world of SEO, you will find that this is one of the most blogged about topics. Everyone wants to know if they are using too many keywords or not enough keywords. This is the question of the last few years.

So, I am going to break it down for you the best that I can. I will show you a keyword placement strategy that has worked for many, including myself.

Keyword in the Title of Your Post

This is simple; only one keyword phrase used in the title of the post. Place the keyword at the beginning of the title, always at the beginning.

Keyword Density

Keyword density is defined as the percentage of keywords used in your post; yes, it is as simple. After researching for years on the different keyword placement strategy, I  found that SEO experts say to have a keyword density of 1 and 2 percent. This keeps things even and if you do it right, your post won’t look spammy.

An easier way to figure out the keyword density in a post is to take a post of 600 words and place the keyword 6 to 12 times throughout it.

If you use a keyword phrase that has a keyword density of 1 to 2 percent,  it will be easier to find in search engines.

How to make sure you are using the right keyword density

This is something I learned a long time ago to get my keyword density down; I write my post as natural as I can, I then go back through and count how many time I have used those keywords within the post. Most of the time, I have used the keyword phrase enough times for it to have the right keyword density, every once in a while I have to add the keyword phrase into the post to get the right amount of keyword density that I need.

Tools that help with Keyword Density

I also like using tools to help me so that I’m not struggling if I wrote a post that was long, or one that was shorter than 600 words. There are great tools such as the one that SEOBOOK offers. There are also plugins such as the WordPress-SEO that lets you check the keyword density before you post.

What we have learned in this lesson is that it is important to place your keywords properly, we learned why keyword placement is important, and a few tools that will help you.

Make Money Online Using Fiverr to Sell Gigs

I have been suing Fiverr for about a week now. I have actually had an account with them for about a month but I only used it to help out with a website that I was building. Then it got me to thinking; why not use Fiverr to make money online? Fiverr is a community of people who offer jobs or gigs for $5, and these gig range from funny things like making up a silly song to sing to you, to getting more pageviews, likes, followers, to writing content for people. Well, I am a writer and therefore I like to get paid to write. I set up a few gigs and waited patiently. I started getting hits off of these gigs and people started buying my fiverr gigs. I was making money online within a week. Now, I have used them in the past and so I know that they do payout. They use Paypal to pay the individuals and people from around the world use them. You can either have the funds added to your paypal account or you can use the money you earned to purchase gigs yourself. On the gigs that you...

Long Tail Keywords, Niche Sites, and So Much More

There is nothing new about niche sites but, there are still a lot of people who don’t know how to create one, why keyword long tail phrases are important, how to search for keywords, and choosing the right keywords. I walk you through as much as I can in a short…umm, maybe long, post. I will go more into this in the near future but for now, enjoy this post on niche sites and keywords. .   What is a Niche Site   A niche site is a website or blog that focuses on one particular thing. Let’s say, for instance, you wanted to do a website on crafting. A niche site for crafting would mean that you would need to take it and narrow it down as much as possible. Instead of being on a wide range, which crafting can be, you might want to focus on a certain type of craft. A niche site for crafting might be woven headbands, building tables made from oak, or using a particular tool to create crafts.   The Right keywords   When you create a niche site, you must use the Right ke...
